Can anyone tell me if MEM RCDd as installed in consumer units are electronic type or just purely electro mechanical the RCD I'm thinking of are MEM T ones

Are you reffering to the standard 30mA sub-circuit RCD's or the 100mA Selective types used as Main switches, that protect the whole installation?
