My question is the grounding from the 5 kva transformer back to the #2 mcc panel ground, bonding will be done in the transformer xo with a #8 from the GEC do I need a ground from xo connected to the mcc ground bar.

A short answer to the above is 'No'.
You say the pri & sec of the 5Kva originates and returns to the MCC for 120 volt circuits.

You MAY want to install an EGC from XO to the MCC for terminating the EGCs from your 2-120 volt circuits.
