I never had a reason to learn to read a meter but I think the POCO made a mistake. I am getting 2018, is that correct? POCO says it read 2092 5 days ago.

I see 2018.

2092 sounds/looks like the reader was wrong!

2018.
I wouldn't too concerned. You paid a little extra this time, but next time you will pay a little less.

They transposed 2 and 9

I see 2029 with rounding

Definitely 2018. The Meter Reader misread the meter.

You are assuming that kid knows how the needles move.

Also that every other one moves in opposite direction.

At least you don't have a smart meter.

We don't have them in general use yet (still in test mode) but I have read horror stories of readings being really off in other parts of Canada and the US.

I have smart meters at my home and my cottage. I love the feature where I can go and see how much power I am using per day.

Here is the screen I get when checking daily usage at the cottage. I can also have it display Kw instead of cost.

I think FPL recently began offering this too.
