Hijack....

Not on the east coast, but I do have a lot of interest out here after the blackout for increasing facility generator capacity or adding generators.

From Casinos to high rises, seems a lot of people weren't happy with the amount of non-essential power they had.

This happened after the large fires in 2003 and 2007 too.

It's not 'hijack'.....it's "Hi John"

Yes, I saw the info on the blackout in beautiful San Diego & surround. Any word on the status of the guy who was in the wrong spot?

John,

I don't know about other areas, but in my 1 town, I walked into the office yesterday and there was already 15 permits for me to sign off on for misc. electrical work. Mostly services, HVAC and furnaces.

Picked up a couple jobs related to Irene, which isn't bad for a part-timer like myself.

One flood-damaged main service panel to replace, and an outdoor panel and misc equipment serving a pool/hot tub setup that was crushed by a falling tree.

Picked up a few from Irene, we actually donated service to a few people just to help them out.
