It could be? smile I heard that some one from my area worked down by you, and was shocked that you knew me. I keep telling the local EC's to stop by and check out this website. I also have a small following of EC's who e-mail me to ask my opinion on things. I will also send them new info when I ever get it from the DCA.

I always felt that being in this position as an AHJ, I wanted to treat the EC's like I wanted to be treated. Have you ever heard this phrase when you asked an AHJ a question? He would reply to you, "I am an Inspector, not an Instructor!"

I am the AHJ, but I feel that if someone asks me a question, I would do my best to give them a answer (to the best of my knowledge) but as you always say, This is just my opinion, you should check with the AHJ in charge of that town.

P.S. Did you hear about the new rules that will allow a tenant fit up to keep going, even if we can't get there to do an inspection? My CO was at a state run meeting of the Building Officials and the DCA told them about this new rule.

I don't think that the minor work tenant fit-up rule is 'in writing' yet! I'll be out of the office till Thursday, and my CO is out till Friday, so I'll let ya know what's going on then.

Questions by HOs are responded to with 'State Laws prevent me from providing any design or installation information; refer to the current NEC, or hire a NJ Lic EC'. I know an inspector who received his last and final warning from 'the boys' and is facing suspension on one more infraction.
