Found this responding to a tenant complaint in building.

Fire Prevention followed me, they wrote nine (9) violations.

Interesting that a building that has done no electrical work...has yellow #12 NM

looks mighty familiar HotOne

but how do we know that the new RX was simply a service call to replace a bad wire by a bona fide sparky there?

Based on what I saw...the last 'bonafide sparky' there was the crew that wired the structure way back when!

As is often the case Hotone

that said, other than working clearance, and a missing panel cover, can you tell us what violations were found?

Just an FYI, I couldn't get close enough to the open panel to look for the date stamp. Yes, that's handy to have a 'date'.

point taken

i sign & date all my installs

i also collect old code books, due to the term existing being predicated on a compliant install at the time

I also have a collection of NECs, they sure come in handy on some 'old' jobs.
