michelebacocchia New Member Registered: 08/23/10 Posts: 6 Loc: Italy	Hello!! Could I use a Tray Cable (TC) certified CSA without the use of a cable tray in an industrial equipment?or I need to use another type of cable? Thanks!

twh Member Registered: 03/11/04 Posts: 716 Loc: Regina, Sask.	Table 19 shows TC cable as suitable for direct earth burial with protection if it's marked for that use (Table 19, Note 25). If you run TC cable in a cable tray, you need to get from the tray to the equipment the cable serves. 12-2202(2) covers that by allowing its use in conduit where it isn't in the cable tray. Other than that, I think you need to use different cable.
