I just want say one thing. I have been on MANY discusion boards for many years. Joe T can attest to that. I think that THIS board is very professional, pleasant, and considerate to each other. There isn't much flaming, name calling and belly aching about each other as there is in other boards. I visit many boards and I offer my 2 cents, but some other boards are almost hostile about anyone who offers a different opinion. That is a shame because if the are 100 different people, you will have 100 different opinons. We all have to respect the other opinion, and if you think it is wrong, then try to guide that person, toward the right direction. We all know that even if "we" think that we are right and we think that the other person is wrong, we can try to steer them in the correct direction with out being mean. Sometimes the also have a way at looking at somthing that we don't see. They can offer a differant way of looking at somthing. So in closing I just want to thank this board for being kind, coniderate, and nice to people who are really looking for some help in electrical work. ( I am getting off my soap box. I just left another board so please forgive me.)

I agree 100%. I appreciate the input that I get here. I have been in the trade for almost 32 years, but there is a lot I don't know and a lot I have forgot. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not a "know it all". I need the input and expertise from others who have dealt with situations in more detail than I have. I believe with the combined effort of us all and "professional courtesy", we can do our jobs better and possibly save ourselves and others from "electrical dangers" that are associated with our trade Thanks again to all who participate in this forum and other forums also. You have been a great help to me Steve....

Thankyou for articulating this so clearly, Harold. The carrot in front of the head is better than the 2x4 upside the head. Al

Harold: I am very happy that you feel this way about ECN and Bob will also be proud. I dare those who would flame us, to come here and give it a try, they will be short lived for sure!! Does anyone remember those who are banned from our shop? [This message has been edited by Joe Tedesco (edited 12-30-2002).]

Mr. Endean:
Thank you for your posting--very well put, indeed.
Also, thanks for the professional guidance you had given me (via e-mail) -- I'm still looking...
