From the NFPA flyer for 2011 items....

Revised Article 625, hybrid battery charging safety to mitigate explosion risks.

New Article 694 for small wind electric systems and first time requirements for same.

Revised Article 705 on interconnecting gens, windmills, solar & fuel cells with other power supplies.

240.87 for reducing incident energy

Labeling subpanels to identify feeder supply source (408.4(B))

Disconnecting means for transformers (450.14)

First time Article 399, outdoor overhead conductors.

New Article 840 addressing increased demand for broadband comm with requirements for wireless, routers & wireless disconnects.

Above are taken from NEC Resources flyer by NFPA, not verbatium.

Without looking the 840 stuff sounds like design issues. Why would you need to disconnect a wireless network? Would not a system shutdown accomplish this?

I looked through the ROP, I don't have the draft.
Most of the proposals are about Optical Network Terminals. I didn't see anything about routers and wireless but I was starting to not care anymore wink
Reading the ROP is pretty dry stuff.
Sort of like that 20 page thing you get from the bank every year or so (or that pile of sticks in the back yard).
You never know what's in either of them until it jumps up and bites you on the butt.
