Has anyone ever heard of an MH wall pack with a secondary emergency bulb (or quartz restrike bulb) that can be externally switched independently of the MH bulb?
I've spent hours looking through manufacturer spec sheets for MH wall packs with emergency circuit support but can't find anything that says if the emergency lamp can be turned on externally.
I don't want to be able to run both the MH and secondary lamp at the same time--just the option of being able to light one or the other on demand.
Thanks for any leads.

Ides: Welcome to ECN. I believe that RUUD Lighting in WI, USA has a wallpack that has emergency lighting (2 bulbs) available. It was a few years back, but they may still have it.
You are looking for egress illumination from the two lamps, correct??

Thanks for the suggestions, but these don't look quite what I'm looking for.
What I want is a three (or four) wire fixture where I can turn on either the MH or secondary light (halogen, LED, CFL, etc) by energizing one circuit or the other. In other words, something like a title 24 two stage luminaire where one stage is MH and the other uses some different technology.

Ldes: I'm moving this over to the Canadian Section; perhaps that will help.

I wouldn't have thought that this was a particularly "Canadian" problem. Too bad there isn't a Chinese Section to deal with manufacturing questions.

I have no intentions of upseting my 'brothers' north of the border! Thanks for the geography lesson, I never heard of Vancover, WA!
Back to the 'meat'.... I can't figure if the OP is looking for a fixture with a set-up for egress lighting, or ???

I know I have heard of them as Discharge lighting is not usually recognized as meeting the requirements for emergency lighting. Given the heat involved in these luminaires I doubt you would find an LED option but Quartz is probably the ticket. Might be a special order item?

We have a wallpack that has two (2) 6-12 volt DC base lamps that are used for egress lighting, used to come in HPS/MH for reg ltg. The egress was from a remote em battery pack.
Currently, I see a lot of CFL wallpacks with this option.
As to MH/HID hi-bay type, the quartz restrike option is available; I have not seen anything with Em Ltg built-in. It may exist, but I have not seen it.
AS the OP didn't state the use he is looking for.....I'm just throwing this out.
