Due to 2 recent electrocutions in our area in a public pool . we are requesting help, to assist in our investigation of this , that anyone having a copy of article 680, year 1963, for this period of time please fax it to 217=422-5142. I would appreciate any assistance you fellows or gals can offer....thanks

1963...

But someone else needs to review everything and bring it up to comply with 1999 NEC or better.

These electrocutions happened at about the same time, right? And the pool has been closed until everything is made GFCI ready and protected by GFCIs, right again?

In answer, yes, Both electrocutions happened at the same time, we are inreested in knowing what the code said at the time of the installation in 1962...Most likley , the pool will never re-open as the owners grandson was one of those killed... This is just to be able to answer questions asked in a criminal investigation

Call the NFPA Library at 617-770-3000 and ask about their copy service for the part you need.
