[*]Firewall- Windows Defender
[*]Malware remover/protector- Malwarebytes anti-malware ( http://www.malwarebytes.org/ )
[*]Internet Browser- Firefox 3.0.10 ( Firefox.com )
[*]IRC Client- mIRC ( mIRC.com )
[*]Operating System- Windows Vista Ultimate

if you can think of anything else you want me to add, or if you want to know what i use for anything else, just ask me. and NO I will not add Norton, Macafee, or AVG to this list EVER!

I have two machines running XP and whatever security is built into that and I have Mcafee on this one. The rest of my machines (W98 or DOS)are running totally "bareback". This is really the only one I browse on. I do run the scanner on the others occasionally and the only real thing it ever finds is a bunch of retailing spyware and tracking cookies on my wife's machine. In all fairness some of these machines are running DOS and I doubt there has been a DOS virus that wasn't an EXE, COM or BAT released for ... ever.
Anyone who opens one of those, without understanding what it is, deserves what they get.
The only real viruses (trojans etc) I have ever found were buried in warez I downloaded from usenet and I scanned them first so I didn't open them.

Anti-Spyware = Spybot S&D, Adaware
Other anti-malware : Windows Defender and Malwarebytes anti-malware (both seldom used)
Browser : Firefox 3.0.10 with Noscript and Adblock Plus
Email Client : Thunderbird - server uses Mail Marshal

Home Machine

OS : Win XP Pro SP2
