So he didn't put his hand in the water and grab the (supposedly) bonded cold water valve? Some people just won't go the extra mile in the name of science anymore.

One of the surest ways I know of to trip a GFI is to have one installed on a job for temp power, when you're really busy on the other side of town, and have someone plug an old worn out tile saw into it.
