Tesla, Yes, I learned about them several years ago when my company started using their AC and DC drives. We also had their motor line. But that went away due to our refusal to stock the amount they wanted. We were also a approved service center for them (drives).

Are you familiar with WEG Electric. These guys are for real. Manufactured in Brazil.
They too build for power transmission. They are the GE of South America. I had the opportunity to go to Brazil and check out their facility.
Totally high end and so efficient.
They forge/cast their own steel and iron. Mine it too.
They mine and process copper into magnet wire themselves.
The only thing they sub out is bearings.
Their North American headquarters is in Atlanta GA.

Ps....I love your forum name. Tesla is one of the greatest inventors of all time and he does not get enough credit for his work. I read some where that he, not Marconi invented the radio?

My understanding is that Marconi based his work on no fewer than 17 of Tesla's patents. Belatedly (1943 I think) the US Supreme Court returned the credit for radio to Tesla.
