In my area of North Carolina, the 2008 code does not take affect until July 2008, if even at that date, according to my electrical inspection dept. They told me they are to have a council meeting, and if there is enough complaints about the AFCI's and tamper proof recpts., it may be longer
before it goes into affect. Steve...
