I've paid by piece before. I prefer it because that's the way the GC's pay us. It motivates the individual or crew to work fast and long hours. It's mazing how much more gets done when they control their own destiny. The big problem comes with the neatness of the work and corner cutting, but this can be managed if they know what's expected. Currently everyone if hourly, but I've been thinking about trying it again.

I'm considering trying this is there a site that can help me try to figure out how to pay ,or can you give me some tips on payand on taxes .My GC pays me by the opening and has everything priced that will be wired on each job.
