Which way do you think is the best way to mount ground flood lights ( 150 wt. HPS ) ( 100 HPS ). I imagine I'll run uf cable to these fixtures, mount fixtures to a wp box with wp cover, using the 1/2" nipple off the fixture to screw into the cover. Use 1/2" rigid galvanized pipe to support the box, and flex out of the ground with wp flex into the box. Any other ideas?? Thanks, Steve..

Since you're using UF....how about a 'rocket-perma-post'?

Manufactured PVC tube with stabilizing fins, 1/2" NPT on top. (Arlington?)

Eliminates WP box, cover, flex, etc.

John, thanks for the idea. Yep, that's the way I want to go. Looks better too. Thanks again. Steve..

Try looking into the RAB "mighty-post". All PVC, so the inevitable replacement of the fixture will not include replacement of a rusted-on post cap.

I've tried the other brands of these perma-posts, and RAB makes the best.

Good Luck!
