With less then 1000amps on the switch (Probally next size dn 800 amps) The system is much better and more cost effect.Your likely to have several 600 or 800 amp switchs after the mains anyway for subfeeds. Most paper mills ect use a High impedance Grounded neutral system . GFI in hospitals and the required sub planels I agree with 100%.
