Please note that if you have bookmarked the old Chat room URL it will be wrong.
Please use this link: http://www.licensedelectrician.com/Chat.htm

This is a demo, you do not need a password to access it, just use your ECN username to log in.
Any new members that were having problems with the other software, may log in as well.
We are trying to give this new Chat room sotfware a good work-out, so come join us.

My apologies here ...

I didn't realize that this Demo had a 7 user limit on it, so you may get an 'Access Denied' message. If you try again a bit later there may be an open slot.

I'll try to get the limit lifted so we can really test it out.

As of now there is a registration process in place for it. Please follow the directions and let me know of any problems.

Rollie, that happened to me, too.

Click on "forgot password" at login and your real password will be emailed to you.

It is a generated password, and can be changed once you login to the site

Hey everyone.

Just to let you all know, the new chatroom works great. Loads faster and everything, and works for the newer members that were left out by the forum upgrade. Also, we now have "status-messages" that can be used if you step away from the computer.

One catch though: You need to register to use this new chat program. You cannot just type in your ECN info and get it. You have two first register your username, then two emails later you'll have your password. Your password is not the activation code in the first email. Follow Scott's directions two posts up and you should be fine. Finally, if you don't get the emails, check your spam/junk folder, some of the messages go there.

I re-registered an hour ago and I still haven't got the e-mail, I've checked both my Inbox and my Junk box as well.

Strange.
