Gloria,
What is the Sziget festival?.
Sounds like a pretty cool sort of a thing.
If there are Maori folk there, it seems like a real International sort of a thing.
I hope at least there was a kapa-haka (song and dance) from the group at the festival.
For those of you that don't know about Maori culture, it is full of songs and dances, kapa-haka is a really serious thing here in NZ, amongst the Maori folk, I was involved in it for years from the time that I turned 5 until I was 18.
I loved it.
The Maori's are a warrior race and are rich in war dances.
Any of the race that picks up the dances or songs, has more Mana (respect) than those that don't.

Yes Trumpy, it is a one week gettogether, see the website
http://www.sziget.hu/festival_english

You can find probably everything you like there. You can stay in a Hotel somewhere in budapest, or you can sleep there, in a tent.

Also the Killers! :~)))

mh... aftermath of a bad hail storm. A Lada in the background. Could be the outskirts of any Hungarian city, if not Czech, Slovakian,...
Houses in the former Autro-Hungarian Empire look pretty much the same all across, in spite of cold war and communist regime.

Yup. It's just a bit weird, we just had the celebration of the state-foundation (ad. 1000, 20th Aug) and the fireworks were almost washed away, like last year. As a luck, the rainstorm was over by 8.30pm, so we could have fireworks at 9pm.

Back in 1992 when I was in Aussie, I met a guy there from Hungary, he was a bloody good Bass Player, we jammed together after work, we lived in the same block.
We called him Herve, I've never seen him since.
I never knew what his real name was. frown
He had to return to Hungary because his mother was ill, I miss him to this day.
I've never connected with a Bass player on that level (as a drummer) before and probably never will either again.

It's more a French name. Wish I could help.
