my electrical board only requires (1) 8ft rod to ground a service/ and to bond all interior metal piping, whats the requirment in your area ? also we enforce a min (20) amp for all branch circuits, min size conductor is #12 co. also ser disconnect can not exceed more then five ft from the meter/ servive entrance conductors. what are the rule in your area ? we are in Central,Ms

mj,
does your electrical board require proven 25 ohms or less for said G-rod?

we do not test for the 25 ohms or less, that is a good point. maybe we souuld require a second rod to assure the 25 ohm requirment. thanks, i will bring up that matter to my next board meeting.
