Iam currently a 4th year apprentice up here and was wondering what I could possible expect for pay down in Florida I have done all commercial work through my carree up here. I grew up there. Summer is hot and humid. The fishing is supreme. Boating also. If I ever moved back I would have to become an inside salesman type to be in the air conditioning. As far as pay goes, well maybe if you live far inland from the coasts where housing is reasonable. Also there is IBEW in Tampa, which pay wise is probably not too bad.

Work is pretty slow in residential right now. I suppose there is still a lot of commercial going on.
I wonder what the IBEW really does here. I can't imagine the union actually has any bargaining power. I'm not sure how you say "strike" in spanish.
