During one jobsite visit, I told the Contractor that he had violated the maximum number of bends in a set of 4" conduits.
He told me that since it was for the phone cables, the Code didn't apply. The Code ONLY applied for power wiring.

By a happy coincidence, the local AHJ was on site the same day and was in earshot of that remark.

It was amazing how fast that conduit got ripped out and a pullbox installed. Sometime all it takes with some folks is a gentle crack on the head with a redtag.
