But seriously, it is hard to tell from the picture, but possibly there is a floor to be poured yet which may give you the required height?

I am assuming maybe a floor, but then it looks like the main breaker will be at floor level , not saying you cant do that laugh

Supposing a sloped landscape, could the garage maybe feature a raised landing that is yet to be built/poured?

Personally, I think he's checking the colored plastic tubes to see if there is wire inside. grin
