For those that don't get NEC Digest follow this link for a good article about running a contracting business more efficiently.

There is an offer at the bottom of the article for a free CD "10 Key Strategies to Build a Business that Works."

A very good article Jim. It lays out the various business structure, recordkeeping, and proceedures that must be in place to run a successful business.

I hear from contractors with good businesses that spend all their time putting out fires (figuratively). I like keeping things very simple. In the language of E-Myth, maybe I don't have a business, I just have a job...but what if it's the job I always dreamed of having?
