Scott, one contractor near you was at 55, the newest contractor was at 50, two others were at 65 and I was the only at 85. They joke and call me the crook, but I have many repeat customers that trust me whole heartedly. I pay my accountant 140, my lawyer 250 and I won't even go down the doctor road. Bottom line is there is no life safety in any of these occupations other than the Doc. By the way the lawyer is only on retainer. I just see it this way.. I deserve a pention and vacation and holiday pay as a technician, then because I am the business owner I deserve the profit! That is why we are in business for ourselves, isn't it?

JR looks like I am at the top of the food chain. Or maybe the bottom. $89.00 per hour for me. Can't imagine how anyone could survive on $50-$60. I assume they will either learn or lose. I'd love to get in on this gathering sometime.
