Were you ever convinced you saw something and when you went back you couldn't find it?

The lunch room conversation centered around old time electrical gadgets. I KNOW I saw a picture posted here from a magazine about a "4 tube computer" or something like that, showed junior looking at a box that had a little round screen that looked like a radar screen. Told all the guys about it, now I can't find it. some things are as sure as death and taxes.

Anybody else remember that one? Or am I more nuts than I realize. [Linked Image]

I think some of it must come from slopping around in all those leaky voltages and slippery amps lying in puddles on the floor.
