If I may make a suggestion...

Since this forum is specific to the 2008 NEC, maybe we can title new threads something like this:

"600.5 Branch Circuits (Electric Signs)"

This will make it easier for everyone concerned to discuss the specific proposal. It will ALSO make it more likely that our comments will be seen and listened to, by the code panel members lurking out there.

I agree. It might also be helpful to mention 2008 NEC somewhere so that when these threads are older and if they get mixed back in the 'NEC' area the context remains clear.
