When I write on an inspection report that "fire resistance rated walls must have joints taped", I don't mean duct tape. [Linked Image]

Ryan,
Is that a "fire resistant wall", or is it a draft stop?

It's a draft stop. I still thought it was pretty funny.

Darn right it's funny!!! [Linked Image]

I've also heard the term "Fire Curtain" for Draft Stops.
With that in mind - and the ">2 Hr. Duct Tape", next Draft Stop will be heavy asbestos curtains, dangling from jack chain!

A little "artistic license" would have been nice. www.thetapeworks.com/398.htm
