I don't know about anyone else, but I like seeing old warning signs & instruction notices, as they had much more character than today's iconized, standardized pictograms.

I stumbled upon this photo from the Paris Metro (subway system):

It looks as though the notices in red top and bottom have been added at a later date, but unfortunately the edges have been cropped a little too much so we can't see the surroundings.

The original panel says: To cut the current on the track, break the glass, pull the handle.
