Hydro worker electrocuted
Quote
A hydro worker is dead after he was electrocuted trying to restore power at a Cooksville transformer station.

The accident happened at 5:30 p.m. on Cawthra Rd. near the QEW and North Service Rd., police said.

"The hydro was down," said Peel Region police Staff Sgt. Paul Chisholm who said the man was on a ladder when he somehow made contact with an electrical current. The man, whose name and age are being withheld until next of kin are notified, was pronounced dead at Trillium Hospital.
