Speaking of the IAEI, I just got back from a seminar on Soares Book on grounding, put on by our chapter of the IAEI ( http://rockymountainiaei.electrical-contractor.net/ ), a seminar that I taught, being the education chairman for our chapter.

I was also in charge of sending out the flyers for this meeting. I sent a flyer to every member of our chapter. When I got to the seminar, I found out that there were 3 gentlemen attending that were associated with home inspection companies, (3 out of 50 attendees).

The fact that they were IAEI members, and were attending this seminar, on a Saturday, made an impression on me. Hopefully, through courses like this one, we can get the correct information to these companies.

I guess we could all learn a lesson here. Those three home inspectors should be patted on the back & encouraged to come back for more. We shouldn't be painting all these guys with one wide brush.

call up your local, or any, insurance co. tell them your a carpenter looking to wire the homes you're building and listen to their responses.( I have done this)
