Trumpy, even the slowest ADSL connection is going to be way better than dialup [Linked Image]
The biggest and best change I think you'll notice is not dialling up all the time, now you just have to remember to leave the phone off hook so nobody bothers you while posting here [Linked Image]

DJK, the adsl I am on here is £17.99 (€26.36) per month for 512kbps downstream, 64kbps upstream, although it usually manages 256kbps upstream except at peak times. Installation was free, and came with free modem that arrived 3 weeks after the line activation, or 2 weeks after I went out and purchased an ADSL router [Linked Image]

(edited to respond to djk's inquiry about dsl pricing)

I can be online and make/receive calls at the same time since ADSL.

Ah, but just imagine the scenario......

You're in the middle of reading and replying to an interesting post on ECN when the phone rings. And what do you hear when you answer, thinking it might be something important?

"Good evening Mr. <Mispronounces-your-name>, How would you like to get better rates on your long-distance calls?" Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh!

Funny you should mention that Paul!. [Linked Image]
I have a day off today and the phone has been running hot, with people looking to sell me all sorts of things.
It's not fair at all, it's not even 9am here yet!. [Linked Image]
