Many tears ago in the UK, we suddenly 'used' an incredible extra 1000kw from normal in one quarter. I suspected the metre had 'jumped', ( it was inside the house (UK), normal eddy current disc type ). Anyway, the poco refused to admit this could be a problem, and I had to stump up the money. Funny, they changed the meter for a new one though.....
Is this possible?

Trumpy ! Perhaps your neighbours are running the dope house. Check for extension leads running over their fence and into your garage.

Pauluk I think you'll find that your Local Council aren't actually reducing your taxes. Instead they are increasing them as the Council gets more efficient at doing nothing.

Note in the paper today:
Is it just me, or is everything just having the price bumped up on it?.
I don't notice that EA is making my wages bigger to compensate for the increase.
