Ok, im sure lots of us have seen/worked on this stuff, Im currently re-wiring a house which has for the past xx? years been powered by lead cables, and just found it funny on the amount of Junction boxes used, 9 in total
Anyway heres a few snaps.
Bottom shiny bit was me tightening the clamp which was slack, they all were.

Found this label in the loft. It was for Single insulated lead cable.
The customer wants his lights wired on X10 Automation and these are only the upstairs lights
