Are these available in the 1-63A range? Found them in the US on Eurpoean-made machine tools.

{Reposting info from an old thread}

Usually they are called DI, DII, DII or DIV. (Increasing in size and rating)

The ratings of the the different sizes, from small DI to big DIV, are as follows:

DI (maybe 1, 2), 4, 6, 10, 15/16

DII (2, 4), 6, 10, 16, 20, 25A

DIII (32), 35, (40), 50, 63A

DIV 80, 100A.

(Paranthesis indicates special order only)

The DII is the size corresponding to the ordinary E27 light bulb.

Types DII and DIII are very common.

There are also similar looking Neozed fuses, which are a bit more modern and compact.

{Edited to make it more consistent and correct errors}

Texas Ranger, C-H,
Thanks a lot for the pictures.
I've seen these used over here once or twice, just can't remember where.
What sort of voltage rating do they have?. [Linked Image]

The DII is the size corresponding to the ordinary E27 light bulb.

That's an interesting point. On the North American continent, one version of 30-amp-and-under, 125-volt fuses come with "edison" screw bases identical to most incandescent lamps. They are generally obsolete—probably because about 85 years ago someone figured you could bypass a {blown} fuse with a {used-to-be-solid-copper} penny—a US/Canadian 1-cent coin.

[I first discovered diazed fuses used for control circuits in, of all places, a California 500-220kV utility switchyard.]
