That is right, to get a contractors licence in QLD you have to have been in business for at least five years previously, or complete some business courses as part of your contractors course. This is now extending to appliance repairers who in some cases now have to have a limited contractors license.

What kind of material do the courses cover?.
Is it sort of like a Business Management course or just the basics of running a small business?.
This should be a requirement to get Registered as a Builder, over here in NZ, considering all of the building company collapses we have had over here, and they quite often take all of the Subbies, with them, when they fold. [Linked Image]
