I commend you both on your qualifications, got a few myself too....

However i must point out that 'qualified' is many times simply in the eye of the beholder.

The EST Registration,here in NZ, is not as limiting as all that, provided that the holder has at least EST B Class.
I know of, and work with a lot of Refrigeration Engineers, Radio Technicians,
Industrial controls Tech's,etc, and to a certain extent, this is all they feel they need, for their line of work, after all an Electrician is only a cellphone call away these days!.
