Does anyone know of an FTP program that will allow you to search through directories on an FTP site to find a particular file?

Thanks,
Bill

Bill,

I'm not sure if it will have what you're looking for, but you might browse through some of the programs on the Garbo Shareware site.

It's run by a professor at a university in Finland, and he has a lot of useful utilities on there.

Paul,

Here's where I go for programs >> Stroud's

Being able to search an FTP site for a file by (partial) name would be a helpful feature for me. I don't have too much experience with FTP programs and have been trying the 30 day versions looking for one to buy. I've already tried WS-FTP, which seemed to search, but couldn't find something I could see was there. And FTP Voyager, which doesn't appear to have a search feature at all.

Any recommendations out there?

Bill
