Oh Yeah...

As an apprentice many moons ago, I was tightening the ground screw of a 250V 20A receptacle. Had my hand wrapped around it pretty well for a secure grip to get the screw good and tight and...YOUCH! I guess I got hit with both legs and to ground on one hand (fortunately). The journeyman that was "responsible" for me at the time decided to turn on the breakers... including the one I was working on. This same guy was scarred head to toe on his right side after dropping a screwdriver into a hot meterbase. I got to witness him put his foot through a ceiling once...something I have NEVER done. (knock on wood) Guess this guy was a klutz. Kinda wonder if he's still alive (or got out of the electrical business)

i was apprenticed to the old 'backhand' school of testing. [Linked Image]

one can't sell themselves as a licensed trade needed for safe installations while practicing obvious acts of electrical disrespect.

most of my customers would rather the 'frog' did not visit [Linked Image]

so anyway.....

Steve,
all frogs, ells, and defib's aside,[ that was fun though!]
did the posts provide enough info?
