Being in the education side of the electrical business (UK), I am always looking for ways to keep the interest of my clients. Here is a picture of a 32amp MCB that I opened up. When set I can spring the breaker and open the contacts.

Has anyone got else got picts of equipment that can be used to explain how they work?

XO breakers have clear sides. You can get cords with clear moulded plugs (one one usually with a neon indicator light).

Here are are some more violations. just for PCBelarge [Linked Image]

No honestly before I taught housewiring I used to teach repair of white goods and these are a few of my teaching aids. They do all work, and were made by the students. It was good to see inside the machines as they worked. The fridges I could over charge and under charge with gas to let them see the effects on the machines.
