Simon,
In the top picture below the Ammeter, is that a Fuse Switch?.
When I started my time with the local PoCo here we were taking this sort of gear out.
What sort of single wires are those feeding the switch?.
In the third pic that I posted, I take it that there is a Busbar Chamber above them Fuse switches?.
Same picture, what type of cable is that leaving the third FS from the left?
Fourth picture, is it my eyesight or are those two bundles of cables different?
Same picture, is that a terminal block?.
In the second to last pic, the cables leving the Fuse-Switches look like TRS type cables, is this correct?.
If you have a good look at the bottom meter panel pic, it seems that the wires come out through un-bushed holes and you would be right in thinking that, because that's what is happening.
Wires were tough back then!. [Linked Image]
BTW Simon, what does all of this gear feed?.

Mike, It fed a quarry originally but it shut down years ago and is now being used as a landfill.

There are 2 large sheds on site, one is ours and is only lights, battery chargers and some power tools and migs, the other is a machine shop that hones and finishes pipes for drilling and oil rigs.

I believe theres some heavy plant at the back of the landfill to process or recycle waste.

I believe most of what is in the pictures is live but I'm not getting too close and I haven't had much time to check it out properly.

There are armoured cables sticking up out the ground everywhere which I believe (hope) are all dead.

Will get more info and pics as time permits.

Simon.
