We've had pictures of some pretty bad temporary installations for swap meets, fairs and such.

Here's a big "professional" company's idea of what's nice.

Anyway, I was at a Blues Music Festival last weekend, and saw this, done by real professionals.

Other than on the stages and in the recording booths, this was about as much cord as you could find exposed anywhere, so this was all the picture I could get! The super-duper-cover sure beats "gaffer's tape" (ductape) holding the cord down in place.
You had to walk to within about 10' of the whisper quiet generators to even tell if they were running or not.

I don't understand how these folks even get paid. Why would anyone shell out money for an installation that could've just as well been tossed together by a ten year old kid?

Though, it is refreshing to hear about stuff done right. It'd be nice to see more pictures of truly quality installations.

Everything has come down to how CHEAP can the job can be done. It has caused owners to forget about quality. It cost to much.
