Yes, it's the transformer mounting. We had to buy 6X6X1/4" square tube and weld base plates on it. Then we hoisted the steel up into the wall and welded the top to the structural steel above and anchored it to the floor. Unistrut was welded to the steel to make the transformer support. The whole operation was designed by us and approved by a structural engineer. Welding was done in house by a certified welder. It turned out pretty clean!
