I see that distinctive orange line behind the display. Having been a recent HD employee all I gotta say is the vendor did it!!!

I wasn't blaming anyone in particular.
These displays are the same all over So. CA, so they most likely were set up by the vendor. Still a bad example.
I've mentioned it to a couple of the "experts" in the stores.
Their responses have been the same.."I don't know about that."
Not surprising.

the most common farmboy interface here, by far, has to be the x-cord with male cord caps on each end....a really advanced model may actually incorporate a dryer male cord cap for 240V (usually a L14-20 @ the genny)

allbeit less than refined, at least the proliferation of the big orange place has provided some level of basic interface example....

That's Flexible Metal Conduit (FMC)into a Liquidtight Flex (LTFMC) fitting.
