That is the exact shade of acrylic berber I've been trying to find for the rental. Do you think Muffee's Carpet Barn has it?

Roohan’s favorite 110-12 unenforceability…neat and workmanlike¿

Perfect! With a few of those handy "flying splices" shown elsewhere at E-C.net, you may end up with quite a stash of like-new NM cable, no doubt in perfectly pre-cut lengths for that next million-dollar mansion. {Sorry. I’ll quit now—but Joe, you make these way too easy.}

Well, let's see; 110-12 & it's enforced
300-11 a; 336-6 a; 333-12 a; 336-16; 336-18

I would have stopped at 110-12 writing it up.
It's a beautiful thing!!

Are any of those black wires coax? I don't have the code book with me, but there's a separation issue with power circuits.

Although not prominent here, what about that non-IC-rated can in the back?

(are all IC-rated cans silver?)

Funny you should bring up that IC can Bill. Here in NJ some electrical inspectors are enforcing an energy code put out by the state. You are not allowed to install resess cans in the second floor of a house unless they are energy efficent. That would mean a "can within a can" or s aelf enclosed recess light fixture. This way the cold air in the attic doesn't drop down through the cans into the second floor.
