Has anyone worked with Insulated Concrete Forms? Or also known as ICF's. I'm building a new home and the forms company says when running wire (romex) "cut a channel into the foam approximatedly 1" wide and to a depth prescribed by local code, usually 1 1/2" deep."
I have a call into the local inspect. and will hear back Monday. Anyone have any thoughts?

And thanks to all that have input to this site, it's great. I'm a soundman that has worked side by side with many sparkey's like yourselves. From stadiums to mom and pop churchs. And 9.5 out of 10 have given me great AC and conduit to work with. I'm just starting a new home and have been on this site for a few months. Sometimes I put down my NEC handbook a little cross-eyed at night. But I have a great ele. inspector to work with. Someone on a post said something about a teacher, this guy is.
