I bet that if somebody had run electrical conduit right across the door which was needed to gain access to gas side of things, he'd be every name under the sun when the gas-fitter/plumber turned up. [Linked Image]

Who wants to bet there's a picture of a generator with the electrical conduit run across it on a plumber or gas-fitter's Forum somewhere?

Have never worked with plumbing, so I don't know if there is a minimum height above grade, but couldn't they have run it closer to the ground, then put two 90's in (up, then over) to allow space? Maybe they just wanted to save on 90's...
