Naah,
Your guys didn't do this stuff, Nick.
It's pretty easy to spot "who's who" in most buildings. The Panelboards, etc. usually have shipping labels on the sides of the cans, which make it pretty easy to identify the original contractor.

Here's your work, complete with the curb around the bus duct.

The hackers left packing lists and tags that came with their material all over the place in this ceiling. I know who they are...S

[Linked Image] The guys told me they found a piece of 3/4" flex 120' long just laying on the grid.
They just pulled the whole thing out from 1 end 'cause it wasn't secured anywhere. It did fall apart at the coupling. 'tho.

Back to the original pic's and story.

I've been thrown out of a few places myself, and sacked from a few hack generals too. Likewise, I refuse to work for some as well.

As for "tact", maybe you should have tried this out. It works for me....

Ask if anyone had been working up there. You then say you found something they might want back. The punk Engineer coughs up that he or his brother did.

You hand him a Quarter!

And, now you know how to handle the situation....
