Here's some shots of a homeowners way of getting the overhead power lines for the garage outta the way! Note the metal pipe holding them in the air! Homeowner allowed me to disconnect them =) Gave a price for going underground, hope he calls! Also advised him on his choice of weatherproof outlet covers & the invention of GFI protection..

I love the way he sealed the knock-outs in that weather-proof box: He must be a plumber.

He forgot the weather-proof cover, and the GFCI protection, but he remember to install the receptacle ground up! Safe enough! [Linked Image] [Linked Image]

Wiring out to garages and sheds if often very poor here in England as well. Many people just don't understand the added requirements for outdoor stuff.
